Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Hanim Osman
 is a Professor at the Department of Structures and Materials, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He is currently the Director of the Forensic Engineering Centre. Besides teaching and supervision as the core responsibility, he is also active in research and consultancies in specialized areas related to civil engineering and construction, in particular concrete and structural steel analysis, design, assessment, and failure investigation. He is a senior fellow member of Civil Engineering Testing Unit (CETU). His current research interest is cold-formed steel design and construction and experimental method. Dr. Mohd Hanim holds B.Eng.(Civil)(Hon.) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, M.Sc. (Structural Eng.) from University of Surrey,  and Ph.D (Structural Eng.) from University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia and a Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia
